FUMCD Mission Committee
Mission Statement
Following God's guidance and taking direction from scripture, we will be involved in efforts which:
- Spread news of Christ's unconditional and redeeming love in word and in service to those in need at home and around the world,
- Work to alleviate deprivation and suffering through ministries with the poor, the sick, the oppressed, victims of disaster and with the weak and vulnerable,
- Support United Methodist missionaries and agencies as well as persons in our local church family who are engaged in mission work.
We encourage all to be involved in serving others.
