It's GO Time

 

 

Following an amazing "Season of Hope" at FUMCD, it is now time to go beyond talking about great ideas and start doing them! Over the course of the next few months we will be participating in a church-wide challenge to put our faith into action. It's GO Time……Calling all Sunday School classes, ministries, groups, and even those who God may be calling to operate and facilitate something alone—have you come up with your project to put your faith in action and do something special for this church, community and God? Are you being called to start an early morning or evening prayer group? To teach a class? Be a mentor to underprivileged children? Clean up and revive rooms, areas on this campus? Be advocates in the community? Will your team lead small group ministries? Be creative. Think outside the box. Be sure to let me or Josh know what you've come up with. It's GO Time…time for action at FUMCD!

“GO” projects that will impact the church and community are moving ahead. Some of the plans have already been put into ac- tion. Check out some of the “GO” projects below, then consider what you or your group, committee, or Sunday School class can do to serve Christ Jesus thru your commitment to the Church. We’ve also included some sug- gestions and ideas for those of you struggling to find a “GO” project.
